Dane Julie Andrews DBE an English actress, singer and author, He career has span nine decades and she has received numerous accolades , including an Academy  Award, a British Academy film two prime time Emmy Awards, three grammy Awards and six Golden Awards. The Julie Andrews made an auspicious film debut in Walt Disney  film Mary Poppins.Andrews  came to broadway in 1954 with ‘The Boyfriend’ and became a bona fide star two years later in 1956, in the role of Eliza Doolittle in the unprecedented hit ‘My Fair Lady’ Her star status continued   when she started in TV production of Cinderella and when she played  Guenvere in “Camelot”. She continued to work on Broadway  until the release of ‘the Sound of Music’  the highest grossing movie of its day and of all time.  She also starred in The Americanization of Emily, Darling lili and Alfred hitchcocks thriller Tom Curtain. She soon found that audiences identified her more through her only with singing, sugary-sweet nannies and governesses and reluctant to accept her in dramatic roles. She continued acting throughout the 1980s and 1990s in movies and TV, hosting several special and in short lived sitcom. She starred in The  Princess Diaries alongside newcomer Ann Hathaway. She also appeared in the Tooth fairy. Julie has also had voice roles in Shrek, Enchanted, Shrek forever After, Shrek 2 , Shrek 3 and Despicable me
